Throwback to last month before our Kedma volunteers went home. midreshettehillah students received service awards recognizing their commitment to עמותת תכלית - עזרו לנו לעזור להם and to packing food for Jerusalem’s hungry. Amidst corona and lockdowns, the Midreshet Tehillah students packed food at Tachlit (which was less than a kilometer from their school) consistently throughout the year. The six choir teams braved corona, lockdowns, and rockets and made this past year’s show one of our most meaningful competitions ever. This year’s theme was “Songs of Hope” and the performances were dedicated to the memory of the 45 victims of the Meron tragedy. It was a true privilege for Kedma to host Minister of Diaspora Affairs Omer Yankelevich at Kfar Yeladim David and at Midreshet Torah V’Avodah last Thursday.
